We are looking for a Talent Agent, to join the Vitamin Talent team and help maintain and grow our reputation for providing the best Account Management, Creative and Digital talent for Sydney's digital, advertising and creative agencies. As projects and campaigns become evermore integrated and complex, demand for Talent in this space is already high, and is going to get higher.
2017 was a record breaking year for our Agency team and as result of that, and the incumbent Talent Agent relocating overseas, there is huge opportunity for a smart, switched on individual to join and contribute to our ongoing success.
What would you be doing?
You would be based in the heart of Sydney's CBD and be networking with Talent and clients across Sydney's booming agency world.
Our agency clients range from the large multinational networks thorough to small independents. You would providing a top notch service to all by providing access to the highest calibre Talent available, who can deliver the very best work for their clients.
The role has two key elements:
Agencies expect the very best Talent, and usually need them quickly, so the role is incredibly fast paced and means you need to be fully integrated in Sydney's agency landscape.
Building trusting client relationships is the root of success in this role so this is not a role for a transactional, high-pressure sales person; it’s a role for an individual with a relentless dedication to providing exceptional customer service and delivering successful, quality outcomes.
This aspect involves building extensive Talent communities and assessing the skills of the most in-demand Talent. We become advisors to our Talent and support many of them as their careers progress to the point where they now come to us to help build their own teams. So a successful Talent Agent thinks both short and term, and is constantly networking and meeting Talent to immerse themselves in the agency landscape.
Who are we looking for?
You may be working in an advertising, creative or digital agency and interested in a career switch that will still enable you to use your agency knowledge, creative passion and work with many of the best agencies and Talent in Sydney.
Alternatively, you may be a recruitment consultant already recruiting in our space, or perhaps in a totally different sector and wanting a change to focus in this highly specialised, fast moving and fun sector.
Regardless of background, with some of the best training and development programs in the recruitment industry we adapt accordingly to help the right people succeed. We have done it before. Many times.
